Kenneth Lee Woodall

GREENWOOD

Kenneth Lee Woodall, 76, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Greenwood and a former resident of New Whiteland.

He was born on Feb. 29, 1940, in Marion County to Henry Lee and Dorothy P. (Osborne) Woodall. He married Virginia Karen Toon on Aug. 1, 1969. She lovingly survives.

Other survivors include children, Mark Terry of Florida, Kevin Terry (Shari) of Florida, Dennis Terry (Missy) of Virginia, Tina Brehob (Steve) of Morgantown,; step-son, Dale Winkler of Greenwood; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Jean Thomas of Plainfield, Teresa (Steve) Booth of Indianapolis, Kimberly (Byron) Thompson of Franklin, Carolyn (William) Peters of Franklin and Larry (Karen) Woodall of Nineveh.

He was preceded in passing by his parents; and granddaughter, Haylee.

Ken was a 1958 graduate of Center Grove High School.

He served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

He was an independent Insurance Agent for 25 years serving Johnson County. He was the owner/operator of Ken’s Floor Covering in Greenwood for seven years.

Ken was a member of the New Whiteland Baptist Church. He was an avid sports fan. He especially enjoyed playing golf, basketball and softball in his younger years.

A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St., Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Second Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Franklin.
