Jimmie R. Hall

FRANKLIN

Jimmie R. Hall, 68 of Franklin, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017.

He was born June 4, 1948, in Beaver, Oklahoma to Cecil and Leota (Williams) Hall. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a structural engineering degree. Among some of the things he enjoyed were gardening, cooking and woodworking from remodeling to building custom cabinetry to designing commercial store fixtures. Jim served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Sunny A. (Christopher) Hall of Franklin; and three sons, Derek L. Hall (Michelle) of New Whiteland, Deven L. Hall (Audra) of Sellersburg, and Damon L. Hall (Amber) of Whiteland. Also, there are six grandchildren, Braxton Hall, Jacob Boesen, Alayna Hall, Olivia Hall, Chloe Hall and Lexi Hall. His siblings include a brother, Randall Hall of Oklahoma, twin sister, Murl Hall Crow of Oklahoma and sister, Joye Hall of Texas.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday with a luncheon to follow at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St., (U.S. 31) in Franklin. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be with military honors to include a 21 gun salute and taps to take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, which is located across from the funeral home.
