Nominations are being accepted for Franklin’s 2017 Marty and Carolyn Williams Volunteer of the Year Award.
The award was named after a Franklin couple, Marty and Carolyn Williams, for their commitment of time and effort to ensure Franklin events run smoothly.
Individuals that have displayed outstanding volunteer service within the last year in the Franklin community and did not receive compensation or course credit are eligible. Members of the general public, organizations and agencies and family members may submit nominations.
Nominations forms are available online and will be accepted until 4 p.m. Friday.
The award will be presented at the State of the City address in February. Names will be added to an annual plaque that will be displayed at City Hall.
