INDIANAPOLIS
Helen Joan Young, 85, of Indianapolis, died Friday, January 20, 2017, at Homeview Center of Franklin.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Young; daughter, Kathy (Randell) Phillips of Wanamaker; son, Jay (Kimberly) Young of Shelbyville; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Mullis (Bill) of Florida; foster brother, Ben Means (Thelma) of Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth E. Young Jr.

A Memorial Service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 E. Hanna Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
