Ellis C. Kerns, 70, of Columbus, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Verna (Swope) Kerns; a daughter, Marie Deweerdt of Nineveh; a sister, Cora Smalley of Kensington, Ohio, and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Jeff Johnson at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
