Braves place fifth in WIC
Indian Creek competed in the Western Indiana Conference playoffs Friday, where the Braves (9-11) won at Sullivan in the fifth-place game 56-49.
Boys basketball
Rebels defeat New Palestine
Roncalli won against New Palestine on Friday, 57-47. Kellen Schreiber led the Rebels (11-4) in scoring with 14 points, while Joe Kirkhoff had 12.
Swimming & diving
Greenwood routs Speedway
Both Greenwood swimming and diving teams defeated Speedway on Thursday. The girls won 136-35, while the boys finished 131-52.
Olivia Franklin, Carline Marot, Bridget Lindstrom, Faith Jackson, Samantha Loudermilk, Ellie Miller and Kacy Clegg all had first-place finishes for the girls. Boys winners included Drew Pirtle, Noah Kosegi, Joey Mooshian, Alec Shroering and Derek Gray.
