GREENWOOD
Willard L. Parrish, 90, of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017.
He was born July 22, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Jesse and Hazel Parrish.
Willard was a proud World War II veteran.
He was employed at IPL for a number of years and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Whiteland.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale (Loretta) Parrish, sisters, Joann (Carl) Mitchner and Mary (Ray) Baker; and daughters, Becky (Dick) Lee and Janet Davis.
Willard is survived by his loving wife, Rose C. (Bannister) Parrish; son, Wayne Parrish; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. on Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
