Letter: Police response on bus unwarranted

To the editor:

After reading the Daily Journal’s account concerning the actions/antics of the Franklin Police Department and their encounter with some high school kids, (“Lockdown at Franklin High School after emailed threat,” Dec. 22) and simmering for a few days, I am wondering whether ordering some high school kids to exit a school bus with their hands high, and handcuffing a high school kid for possessing (gasp) a jack knife, will go down as the department’s finest hour?
