Seven guns, electronics and watches were stolen from a home near Franklin.
A resident of the home in the 1100 block of Hospital Road reported just after 5 p.m. Monday that someone had gotten into the home.
The resident had returned home and found several items out of place. Investigators also found a discarded cigarette near one of the doors, and the residents do not smoke, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report.
Multiple items were stolen from the home, including seven guns and a lifetime handgun permit, two televisions, two tablets, a camera and watches, the report said.
The sheriff’s office is investigating and collected possible DNA evidence from the home, the report said.
