PUNTA GORDA, Fla.
Delbert E. Boger, 85, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at Tidewell Hospice, in Port Charlotte, Florida. He was a resident of Punta Gorda, Florida, and former resident of Franklin.
He is survived by his children, Gail Ann (Don) Buck of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Dale (John Stephen) Lynn Brewer of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; sisters, Mary (Robert) Hutchinson of Gosport, Wanda (Jim) Foxworthy of Southport, Patty (Joe) Cragen of Martinsville and Rita (Larry) Lichtsinn of Auburn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia M. Simion.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Calling will be 11 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be to Tidwell Hospice House Port Charlotte, 1144 Veronica St., Port Charlotte, FL 33952; or the Indianapolis Firefighters Union in honor of Delbert E. Boger.
