Counterfeit

Rally’s, 1599 U.S. 31: An employee reported at 5:23 p.m. Wednesday that a woman tried to pay with a counterfeit $20 bill. The woman said she received the money in the course of her work at a restaurant.

Thefts

  • 1900 block of Crescent Street: A woman reported at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday that someone stole a vehicle an acquaintance had sold her. The vehicle was reported stolen before the woman bought the vehicle.
  • South Forsythe Street and East Monroe Street: A man reported at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday that a gun was missing from his vehicle.

Personal-injury accident

3:10 p.m. Wednesday — U.S. 31 and Earlywood Drive. Juanita F. Ziegler, 75, Scipio and Tammie J. Freeman, 55, Franklin. Freeman reported shoulder/upper arm pain. Ziegler reported neck pain.

Property-damage accidents

  • 10:25 a.m. Wednesday — U.S. 31 and Schoolhouse Road.
  • 6:45 a.m. Wednesday — 2100 block of State Road 44E.
  • 6:33 a.m. Wednesday — Interstate 65 at the 89 mile marker.

1100 block of Scarborough Lane: Police responded at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday to a report of theft.

Domestic

1000 block of Burning Bush Drive: Police responded at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a domestic disturbance.

Theft

Meijer, 150 Marlin Drive: Police responded at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft. A woman was arrested.

Theft

800 block of U.S. 31 South, Franklin: A woman reported at 10:08 a.m. Wednesday that someone broke into her vehicle and stole a gun and purse.

Criminal mischief

3900 block of Pineview Lane, Greenwood: A man reported at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday that someone drive through his yard.
