Counterfeit
Rally’s, 1599 U.S. 31: An employee reported at 5:23 p.m. Wednesday that a woman tried to pay with a counterfeit $20 bill. The woman said she received the money in the course of her work at a restaurant.
Thefts
- 1900 block of Crescent Street: A woman reported at 12:01 p.m. Wednesday that someone stole a vehicle an acquaintance had sold her. The vehicle was reported stolen before the woman bought the vehicle.
- South Forsythe Street and East Monroe Street: A man reported at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday that a gun was missing from his vehicle.

3:10 p.m. Wednesday — U.S. 31 and Earlywood Drive. Juanita F. Ziegler, 75, Scipio and Tammie J. Freeman, 55, Franklin. Freeman reported shoulder/upper arm pain. Ziegler reported neck pain.
