Access Johnson County, 3500 U.S. 31 North: An employee reported at 2:01 p.m. Tuesday that she was missing multiple gift cards. The cards were later found on a passenger in her van.

Shoplifting
Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 7:38 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a juvenile shoplifting. The juvenile was arrested and released to a relative.
Thefts
100 block of Sheek Road: Police responded at 8:43 a.m. Tuesday to a report of theft.
CVS, 640 S. State Road 135: Police responded at 1:06 p.m. Tuesday to a report of theft.
1200 block of North State Road 135: Police responded at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday to a report of stolen car parts.
Child neglect
Especially Kids, 560 N. Emerson Ave.: Daycare workers called police when a child had not been picked up more than an hour after closing and staff could not reach the child’s parent. Other relatives came to pick up the child, but police would not allow them to leave because both had a suspended license. The mother and other relatives came to pick up the child after 10 p.m.
