Jim and Peggy (Sowder) Caplinger are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a casual open house hosted by their family from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 20 at Barton Farms Clubhouse, 1630 Saddle Way, Greenwood. All friends and family are welcome.
They were married Nov. 27, 1966, at Trinity Baptist Church in Indianapolis, by the Rev. Esau Huff.
He retired from Allison Transmission.
She is a homemaker.
They have three children, Laura (Brian) Bair and Jessica Caplinger of Greenwood, and Jolene Caplinger of Whiteland; and three grandchildren.
