GREENWOOD
Margot (Kautschor) Staggs, 91, died on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at The Hearth at Stones Crossing. She was a resident of Greenwood and a former resident of Martinsville.
She is survived by one daughter, Juliane (Gary) Pedigo of Greenwood; stepson: Noel Wayne (Judy) Staggs of Martinsville; sister Anka Kautschor of Germany; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Julian “Duke” Alberding; second husband, Robert C. “Bud” Staggs; a son, Eric Alberding; and stepson, Robert William Staggs.
The Rev. Steve Schellin will conduct a memorial service at 1 p.m. on Friday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St., Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
