Indiana Members, All Seasons credit unions merge

Indiana Members Credit Union finalized a merger with All Seasons Federal Credit Union of Indianapolis on Nov. 1.

In February, Carrier Corp. announced plans to close its manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. All Seasons Federal Credit Union maintained a branch inside the Carrier facility with membership made up entirely of Carrier employees.

The merger allows these All Seasons Federal Credit Union members access to financial services at any Indiana Members Credit Union location.

All Seasons Federal Credit Union was originally chartered on June 10, 1969, as Bryant Employees Federal Credit Union by a group of Bryant Heating and Cooling employees. The name was changed to BDP Employees Federal Credit Union in 1978, and to the name All Seasons Federal Credit Union in 1989.

Credit union to host generation gap workplace seminar

Crane Credit Union in Franklin will host a seminar on helping employees of different generations work together effectively on Nov. 16.

This seminar will teach participants how to communicate, manage and effectively listen to people outside their own generation.

The session will begin at 9 a.m.at the Crane Credit Union branch in Franklin at 2028 N. Morton St.

A light breakfast is included. Registration is free.

Ruoff names top mortgage originator for October

Ruoff Home Mortgage company announced that Donnie Dodson was the top loan originator for the Greenwood branch office for the month of October.

The top spot in each branch office, as well as the company, is based on the number of closed loans during the month, as compared to peers.

Dodson has been with Ruoff Home Mortgage since May 2015. He has won the top companywide spot several times, including in September.

Dodson works out of the Greenwood office, 972 Emerson Parkway, Suite C.

Home Bank CEO wins leadership award from Carmel fim

Dan Moore, president and CEO of Home Bank SB, was recipient of the first INSPIRE Award for leadership presented by ADVISA, a management consulting firm based in Carmel.

Presentation of the award to Moore was made at the firm’s INSPIRE conference in October in Lansing, Michigan. ADVISA created the INSPIRE Award to honor a leader exemplifying effective leadership qualities.

Moore joined Home Bank in 1978 and is a graduate of Indiana State University. He holds a Master of Science in management from Indiana Wesleyan University. He also holds leadership positions at both the regional and national levels for the banking industry.
