Greg and Sherry Phillips of Franklin announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Paige Phillips, to Michael Alan Skillman, son of Dave and Carrie Skillman of Bargersville and Donna and Bill Pickett of Indianapolis.
Miss Phillips graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2009 and from the University of Indianapolis School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2013. She is a registered nurse in labor and delivery at IU Health Methodist.
The future groom graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2007 and attended IUPUI. He is employed at Amtrak in Beech Grove.
The wedding is set for Jan. 7 in St. Pete Beach in St. Petersburg, Florida.
