Bruce N. Patton

GREENWOOD

Bruce N. Patton, 59, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 27, 2016.

Bruce was born Aug. 30, 1957, in Lafayette, to the late Norm Patton and Marcia (Rupp) Huguenard, who survives.

He graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School in Paducah, Kentucky and promptly began a long and fulfilling career in the trucking business. He retired from Stoops Freightliner in January 2015 as the corporate parts manager after 27 years with the company.

He was a skilled water skier and especially loved boating on Lake Monroe and Dale Hollow. Bruce and his wife took great pride in caring for their yard and creating beautiful gardens together.

He will also be remembered for his talents in the kitchen — he was a great cook and grill-master. His loving family and many friends across the country will miss him dearly.

Bruce’s family includes his loving wife of 36 years, Wendy (Hall) Patton; daughters, Brittany Caldwell (Jeff) of Miami, Florida, Darah Patton of San Francisco, California, and Jenna Patton of Greenwood; mother and stepfather, Marcia and Dave Huguenard of Bloomington; sister, Carrie Bonds (Mike) of Camden, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Paisley and Parker Caldwell; and parents-in-law, Rick and Ann Hall of Bonita Springs, Florida.
