200 block of S. Main Street: A man reported at 8:03 a.m. Tuesday that someone came onto a work site and stole a generator, trailer and gas cans.

Heartland Storage: An employee reported at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday that a woman who rented a U-Haul had not yet returned it.

Indy Storage, 875 Overstreet St.: A man reported at 1:11 p.m. Tuesday that someone broke into his storage locker and stole a microwave, vacuum cleaner, clothing and DVDs.

Johnson Avenue and Hamilton Avenue: A juvenile reported at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday that someone stole his backpack while he was at Schmidt Park.

ATT Wireless, 1711 U.S. 31 North: An employee reported at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday that a man stole a phone and ran out of the store.

Foxe’s Den Self Storage: 2600 U.S. 31 North: A woman reported at 9 p.m. Tuesday that someone broke into her storage locker and stole clothing, a skateboard and a pool pump.

800 block of Hospital Road: A man reported at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday that someone broke into his home and stole two televisions, two game consoles, game controllers and games.

Barton Farms, 1630 Saddle Way: Police responded at 4:36 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a stolen purse.

100 block of Timberline Drive: A woman reported at 7:52 p.m. Tuesday that someone stole her son’s cellphone.

Goodwill, 99 E. County Line Road: Police responded at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday to a report of theft.

3300 block of Wembly Road, Greenwood: A woman reported at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday that her daughter’s computer tablet was missing from their home.

Fraud

5200 block of Johnson Street, Greenwood: A woman reported at :02 p.m. Tuesday that she received a call from a purported relative claiming to need cash. The call was fraudulent.

5300 block of Old Smith Valley Road, Greenwood: A woman reported at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday that she received a call from a purported relative claiming to need cash. The call was fraudulent.

Whiteland

Wishing Well Motel, 511 U.S. 31 North: A man reported at 5:47 a.m. Wednesday that someone broke into his room and stole $500 and several pairs of sneakers.
