MORGANTOWN
James W. “Jim” Adams, 85, died on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at his home in Morgantown. He was a former resident of Plainfield.
He is survived by his wife, Maria R. (Adams) Adams; children, Larry (Susan) Adams and Bret (Susan) Adams, both of Indianapolis, Marcie (Monte) Sebastian of New Whiteland, Debrah Daniels of Nineveh, Steve (Estefania) Eaton of Sevierville, Tennessee, and Amanda Chapman of Morgantown; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his first wife, Miriam Adams; and son, James E. Adams.
Brother Chuck Oliver will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 201 N. Eastview Drive, Franklin. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church. A graveside service with military rites will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
