AUBURNDALE, Fla.
Marvin “Gene” Jackson, 98, died on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016. He was a resident of Auburndale, Florida and of Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Cook) Jackson of Auburndale, Florida; two daughters, Sandra (Bob) Danner of Homer, Illinois, and Betty Ruth of Indianapolis; stepson, John Somoya of Auburndale, Florida; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandsons.
Visitation will be 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, with the service following at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join the family after the burial at Cheddar’s on East County Line Road in Greenwood.
