Suspicious person

400 block of South State Street: An officer stopped and checked on a motorist parked at 11:58 p.m. Monday. Four syringes were found in the vehicle. A man was arrested.

Criminal mischief

300 block of Johnson Avenue: A woman reported at 11:07 a.m. Monday that several cars in her neighborhood had toilet paper on them. Her car was scratched.

Counterfeiting

Circle K., 349 U.S. 31: An employee reported at 9:56 a.m. Monday that a man passed a counterfeit $50 bill.

Greenwood

Burglary

1000 block of Greenwood Springs Boulevard:Police responded at 7:12 a.m. Monday to a report of missing electrical equipment.

Criminal mischief

2200 block of Bluewing Road: Police responded at 9:58 p.m. Monday to a report of a house being egged.

Shoplifting

Kohls, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 1:48 p.m. Monday to a report of a juvenile shoplifting. The juvenile was arrested and released to a parent.

Kohls, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 6:41 p.m. Monday to a report of four juveniles shoplifting clothing. The juveniles ran when a loss prevention employee attempted to stop them. They were arrested and released to their guardians.

Thefts

Avis Rent a Car, 794 U.S. 31: A woman reported at 8:19 a.m. Monday that she went to pick up her vehicle and found that it was inoperable because an attempted thief had damaged the ignition and locks.

Long John Silver’s, 2100 Independence Drive: A manager reported at 12:55 p.m. Monday that a bank deposit was stolen from the restaurant.

1100 block of Coventry Court: Police responded at 2:04 p.m. Monday to a report of theft.

Property-damage accidents

4:30 p.m. Monday — Graham Road and Main Street.

2:30 p.m. Saturday — State Road 135N., and Meridian Meadows Road.

Personal-injury accidents

11:36 p.m. Sunday — U.S. 31 North and Loews Boulevard. Jesse Wilder, 30, Greenwood and Hannah Gundrum, 19, Greenwood. Wilder reported full body pain.

4:50 p.m. Saturday — Emerson Avenue and Main Street. Larry Corey, 66, Greenwood and Keri Moore, 43, Indianapolis. Moore had head pain.

4:30 p.m. Thursday — 7000 block of County Road 200E. Krysten Crews, 25, Indianapolis. Crews had neck pain.

7:26 p.m. Thursday — State Road 135S., and Santa Maria Drive. Seth Walters, 20, Greenwood and Ashley Klassen, 36, Greenwood. Klassen reported pain on the knee/lower leg/foot. Walters had a head abrasion.

Criminal mischief

4400 block of Hickory Grove Boulevard: A man reported at 10:46 p.m. Tuesday that someone egged his vehicle.

Thefts

1200 block of Woodcreek Drive, Greenwood: A woman reported at 4:43 p.m. Monday that two females stole a political sign from her yard.

7100 block of S. Centerline Road, Nineveh: A man reported at 7:57 a.m. Tuesday that someone stole a gas can from his property.

Fraud

3800 block of West Smith Valley Road, Greenwood: A woman reported at 11:16 a.m. Monday that someone tried to fraudulently use her debit card.

Suspicious person

1200 block of Leisure Lane, Greenwood: Police responded at 8:57 a.m. Monday to a report of a suspicious man sitting in front of a neighborhood’s clubhouse. The man had a warrant from Marion County and was in possession of methamphetamine.

Elizabeth Jean Applegate, 18, 2624 Branigin Blvd., Franklin; arrested on a charge of false reporting or informing; held without bond.

Douglas Wagers, 57, 6911 S. County Road 300W, Trafalgar; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $500 bond.

Xaieren Jabrone Collins, 33, 1842 Summertime Trail, Apt. 1, Lafayette; arrested on warrants for failure to appear in court; held on $1,000 bond.

Jackson R. Gill, 18, 617 Gooseberry Lane, Greenwood; arrested on an out of county warrant; held without bond.

Zachary R. Brown, 25, 404 N. Clay St., Edinburgh; arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana/hashish; held on $4,000 bond.

Lindsey Rae Jones, 31, 6840 State Road 503, Lewisburg, Ohio; arrested on a charge of failure to stop after an accident; held on $1,000 bond.

Timothy David Dennison, 29, 309 Wellington Blvd., Shelbyville; arrested on a charge of restricted use of a drug injection device and false reporting; held on $2,200 bond.

Dorothy Kathleen Lavelle-Swank, 44, 7525 E. State Road 44, Lawrence; arrested on a charge of failure to return to lawful detention; held on $2,400 bond.

Tabatha Ubelhor, 31, 1324 Norton St., Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court;held on $500 bond.

Terry J. Lipe, 29, 84 Snowflake Circle, Greenwood; arrested on charges of strangulation, domestic battery, interference with reporting a crime, invasion of privacy, driving while suspended with a prior conviction within 10 years and intimidation; held on $6,200 bond.
