Local American Legion and VFW posts are offering free flu shots to members.
Those who belong to American Legion Post 252, Greenwood VFW Post 5864 or New Whiteland Post 6978 can get free flu shots from Walgreens at the Greenwood VFW on Thursday.
Shots will be available between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Any veteran who is registered with the VA Hospital is eligible. A copy of the VA card will be required.
Those not registered with the VA with private insurance, can also get a flu shot and Walgreens will bill the insurance company.
