Fraud
200 block of S. Jackson Street: A man reported at 2:24 p.m. Friday that someone purporting to be from Duke Energy called and said he would have to pay $1,200 with a prepaid card or have his power shut off. The call was fraudulent.
Checking area
North County Road 700E and East Urmeyville Road, Franklin: Police pulled over a motorist for driving erratically at 5 p.m. Friday. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated and on a warrant.
