Marilyn Ruth (Wray) Blackwell, 84, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, in Franklin.
She was born June 17, 1932 in Freetown, to her parents, Horace and Clotha (Greathouse) Wray.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed attending church at Franklin Church of the Nazarene.
Marilyn is survived by her children, John (Donna) Blackwell, Lou Ann (John) Vaughn and Lori (Chuck) Coffin, all of Franklin; three grandchildren, Eric Blackwell, Kyle Blackwell and Brett Jones; three stepgrandchildren, Lisa Huff, Erin Bullock and Jennifer Vaughn; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Blackwell.
The family will be hosting a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Franklin Church of the Nazarene, 140 Branigin Road, Franklin. Rev. Paul Taylor will be conducting a service at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jessen Funeral Home, Franklin Chapel.
