AUGUSTA, Ga. — Four men and one woman have been charged following what authorities believe was a 2014 gang-related slaying.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Thursday that all five suspects have been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the death of 28-year-old Gerald K. Clifford.

Clifford was found shot to death in February 2014 behind the wheel of a vehicle that was stopped on an Interstate 520 off-ramp in Augusta.

The five suspects are 22-year-old Marion Daggett, 26-year-old Kevin Hanna, 24-year-old Marquese Parrish, 25-year-old Darrell Hill and 27-year-old Latasha Moore. Authorities haven’t said what led to their arrests after more than two years.

It is unclear whether any of the suspects have an attorney.
