Woman arrested on prostitution charge

A woman was arrested on a prostitution charge after Greenwood police investigated a massage business they had received complaints about.

ChangLi Su, 54, of Evansville, was arrested on a charge of prostitution after police said she fondled an undercover officer, according to the police report.

Greenwood police had gotten multiple complaints about massage therapists at Golden Spa, 191 U.S. 31, committing prostitution with male clients, the report said. Police had done previous investigations at the businesses, and arrested an employee on a prostitution charge in 2015.

On Monday, an undercover officer went to the business and paid $60 for a massage.

During the massage, Su touched his genitals and he asked if he needed to pay more money. Su told him he had already paid, the report said.

The officer then identified himself, called for two other police officers in the area and they arrested Su, the report said.

Police were not able to find an interpreter to speak with Su, but she told them she was the co-owner of the business.

Su, 2504 E. Tennessee St., was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail, where she was held on $1,000 bond.
