BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. — Police say a man who was shot in Blytheville died after being taken to a hospital.

Capt. Scott Adams told reporters that 33-year-old Michael Angelo Scott was shot about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday and taken in a personal vehicle to a hospital where he later died.

Adams said the body is being sent to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine the official cause of death.

No arrests have been announced.
