A man was arrested after police were called to a Greenwood hotel and a woman was sent to a hospital.
Aaron Deaton, 24, 5000 E. Southern Ave., Indianapolis, was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery.
Greenwood police were called to InTown Suites, located at 887 E. Main St., just after 2 a.m. Sunday on a report of a woman covered in blood.
Police found the woman, who had multiple injuries to her face, head and knees. She told police Deaton had hurt her but would not give them any more information because she didn’t want him to get into trouble, the report said.
The woman was taken to Franciscan Health Indianapolis, where she was treated and released.
Police arrested Deaton, who said he could not remember what happened, the report said.
He was taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was held on $16,000 bond.
