GREENWOOD
Sherry Ann Rumble, 77, of Greenwood, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, with her husband at her side.
She was born Sept. 24, 1939, in Indianapolis, to Carl and Mildred (Wilson) Inlow.
She was a graduate of Greenwood High School with the class of 1957. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin College with the class of 1979.
Sherry was a substitute teacher at Whiteland and Greenwood schools.
She was a member of Greenwood First Baptist Church and was a Sunday school teacher there. She loved to cook, bake and spend time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who know and love her.
Sherry married H. Wayne Rumble on April 18, 1959, in Greenwood, and he survives along with her sons, Tony and Tracy Rumble of Greenwood; grandchildren, Alexandra Elaine Rumble, Amanda Jo Ann Rumble and Antonia Marie Rumble, all of Greenwood, and Tyler Jasper Alan Rumble of Trafalgar; one niece; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
