Bulldogs top Rebels

Brownsburg handed Roncalli a 17-25, 13-25, 17-25 home loss Tuesday. Grace Lawrie totaled five digs in defeat for the Rebels, who hope to come back strong against Center Grove on Tuesday.

Franklin College

Men’s soccer falls to Hanover

Hanover defeated Franklin College 1-0 in a nail-biter of a match Tuesday.

The Grizzlies fell to 0-6-4 with the loss.

Goalkeeper Garrett Belden had a promising performance for Franklin, collecting 13 saves. The Grizzlies face Bluffton University on Saturday.

Volleyball swept by Rose-Hulman

Franklin put up a fight against unbeaten Rose-Hulman but came up short in all three sets, 25-20, 26-24, 25-21.

Senior Amanda Lelivelt led the Grizzlies offensively with 10 kills, while freshman Kennedy Surface added seven. Ashley Bazier and Nico Morris combined for 31 assists.

Morris also came up with an impressive defensive performance, compiling 10 digs. Libby Stahl led Franklin in that category with 18, and Surface registered 12.
