Trojans capture MIC title

Center Grove defeated Lawrence Central on Tuesday, 25-15, 25-15, 15-11, to secure the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference championship.

Freshman setter Madison Hammill had 39 assists and eight digs for the Trojans, now 19-9.

Also for Center Grove, Ellen LeMasters came through with 12 kills, while senior Macy Carrabine had 12 kills and six digs.

Jets soar past Lancers

Hauser handed host Edinburgh a 25-13, 25-14, 25-12 loss.

The Lancers fell to 14-12 on the season and 4-2 in the Mid-Hoosier Conference standings.
