TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa security guard has been critically injured after being shot at a car wash.

Tulsa police say a group of men were leaving the Route 66 Event Center around 4 a.m. Sunday, when they went to a vehicle that was parked at the car wash next to the center.

Police say security was told that one of the men in the group had taken property. Authorities say security confronted the group and a fight broke out. Shots were fired at the guards, hitting one of them multiple times.
