HARTLAND, Wis. — A massive fire has destroyed dozens of buses at a school bus transportation company in Waukesha County.
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office says more than 30 school buses and a bus barn were destroyed in Sunday’s fire at a terminal of Dousman Transport in Hartland.
Hartland Fire Division Chief Dave Jambretz says he is not aware of any injuries.
Tankers from multiple departments were called to the fire. Jambretz says there was no water supply at the scene.
Superintendent Glenn Schilling of Hartland Lakeside School District says area superintendents plan to meet Sunday evening, and families will be notified about how student transportation will be affected.
