DEWEY BEACH, Del. — Authorities in Delaware are investigating after a trolley overturned south of Dewey Beach.

The Delaware State Police says in a statement that the trolley had passengers onboard when it overturned Saturday, but it’s unclear how many passengers may be injured. State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said in an email that all injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening.

The State Police says the crash happened Saturday around 4:40 p.m. on southbound Coastal Highway.

The State Police says Coastal Highway has been closed in the area and commuters should find alternate routes.
