A man police were looking for after a burglary on Wednesday was found and arrested.
Joshua R. Morales, 23, 50 S. Oak St., Chicago, was arrested on a charge of resisting an officer.
Police had been searching for Morales since Wednesday morning, and found him that evening.
Investigators wanted to question him in the burglary of a home in the 7000 block of Centerline Road, near Nineveh. Police saw him in the area, but he ran from officers who tried to stop him and talk to him.
Investigators used surveillance video from a nearby business he visited to try to locate Morales. He was arrested by police Wednesday evening, according to the police report.
Morales denied being involved in the burglary, Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox said.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the burglary.
