Police are asking for the public’s help looking for a man who fled from officers Wednesday morning.

The man, who was wearing camouflage shorts and a black T-shirt, was seen near Centerline Road, where a home burglary was reported around 8 a.m. A gun was stolen from the home.

Police wanted to ask the man about the burglary, but he ran from officers, according to a release from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers checked with a nearby business to see if they had any surveillance video showing the man, and cameras showed he had been to the store that morning, Sheriff Doug Cox said.
