“SIDE BY SIDE,” 8 p.m. Oct. 5 to 8, 2 p.m. Oct. 9., Théâtre Margot in the Johnson Center for Fine Arts, located at the corner of Branigin Boulevard and Grizzly Drive, Stephen Sondheim’s award-winning revue of his earlier work, including “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” “Gypsy,” “A Little Night Music,” “Company” and “West Side Story,” consists of more than 20 unforgettable songs from the musical theater master. Robin Roberts, associate professor of theater at Franklin College, will direct the play. General admission is $12. Admission for each performance is $8 for students and seniors (55 and older). Franklin College students, faculty and staff are admitted free with a valid Franklin College ID.
