JAMESTOWN, N.D. — A man accused of fatally shooting another man and wounding a woman at a wedding dance in New Rockford a year ago has pleaded guilty to murder and attempted murder.
KQDJ-AM reports that 52-year-old David Troske, of New Rockford, entered his guilty pleas Wednesday.
Troske is accused of fatally shooting Donald Perleberg, of Pingree, in the back of the head with a .22-caliber revolver on Sept. 6, 2015, at the Eagles Club in New Rockford, where nearly 100 people had gathered for the wedding reception. Authorities allege Troske then shot Mary Seiler, of New Rockford, in the neck and stomach area before dropping the gun and surrendering.
Court documents show that settlements were reached earlier this year in civil lawsuits filed by Seiler and Perleberg’s family, seeking money damages.
Troske is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 15.
