INDIANAPOLIS
James Edward Bryant, 86, of Indianapolis, died on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Kay D. Bryant; son, Douglas Allan Bryant; daughter, Kathy (James) Shields; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Tom (Judy) Bryant and Janet (Bud) Dudgeon.
He was preceded in death by his son, Eddie James Bryant; and granddaughter, Kari Bryant.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m., at Southport Presbyterian Church, 7525 McFarland Blvd., Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
