The Greenwood United Methodist Church will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Proceeds for the event will go to support Greenwood’s four public elementary schools, helping teachers and administrators pay for students who can’t afford to go on field trips or who don’t have coats or gloves in the winter.
Last year, the event raised $2,000, with $500 going to each school.
The fundraiser will include a dinner of spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and a beverage. Tickets are $7.50 for adults and $3 for children 8 and under.
A silent auction also will help raise money for the schools.
