Paul E. Myers

WHITELAND

Paul E. Myers, 90, of Whiteland, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.

He was born July 11, 1926, in Indianapolis to William and Maude Myers.

He was a U.S. Army and Naval Reserve veteran of World War II.

Paul was a member of Greenwood Masonic Lodge No. 514 and was an avid fisherman and stamp collector. Paul loved to garden and to travel.

Paul married the former Uldine Lawson on July 12, 1956, and she preceded him in death on April 9, 2015.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his daughters, Judith (Larry) Kizer of Whiteland and Sandy (Paul) Jackson of Greenwood; sister, Pauline Chartrand of Indianapolis; grandsons, Eric Jackson and Jay and Matthew Kizer; great-grandchildren, Tori and Bella Jackson and Haley, Alex and Lexie Kizer.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, with military honors and burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
