Edinburgh man injured in motorcycle crash

An Edinburgh man was treated for a possible broken ankle Saturday after a motorcycle accident in Jackson County.

Victor Young was found lying beside his motorcycle and told police he failed to make a 90-degree turn just before 4 p.m., according to the police report.

Young’s motorcycle left the road and went into the Reddington Cemetery, hit a large rock, and Young was thrown from the motorcycle, the report said.

Young was conscious and alert when rescue workers arrived. Young also was wearing a helmet, which likely helped him avoid further injuries, the report said.

He was taken to Schneck Medical in Seymour, where he was treated and released, the report said.
