HENDERSON, Nev. — Authorities have arrested a man in the killing of a woman in a Henderson home.

Henderson police say they received a 911 call Saturday around 5 a.m. reporting that someone at the home needed emergency attention.

Responding officers found a 30-year-old woman dead and with a possible stab wound.

Police say a 48-year-old man at the scene was taken into custody.

Three children ages 7, 3 and 3 months, were in the home.

They are now in the care of Child Protective Services.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office will determine the woman’s identity and cause of death.

Police did not identify the suspect or what the relationship was between him and the victim.

They say police have no record of going to the home before for any domestic violence issues.
