About 400 gallons of fuel were stolen from a farm southeast of Franklin.
Police were called to a farm off Greensburg Road at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, where a resident reported someone had stolen unleaded fuel, according to the report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
The padlock to the barn also had been broken and a field computer and radio were stolen, the report said.
Deputies found fresh footprints, a cigarette butt and handprints and fingerprints that were collected as evidence, the report said.
