GREENWOOD
Joseph K. Ward, 74, of Greenwood, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016.
He was born on Jan. 9, 1942, in Connersville, to Horace Ward and Helen Ward.
He was the owner and operator of Finished Touch Ent, PMX Excavation Inc.
Joe was also a member of the Greenwood Masonic Lodge and American Legion Posts 252 and 285. He was also a proud U.S. Marine veteran.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Diana (Jordan) Ward; daughter, Donna Ward (David Smith); son, Michael (Pamela) Ward; grandchildren, Bryan Neville, Jon Neville, Mark Neville, Jacob Ward and Jessie Ward; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery and Mausoleum Park, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood.
