LAFAYETTE, La. — Police are identifying a naked trespasser shot and killed Friday by a Lafayette resident.

The man was 36-year-old Barrett Farabee II of Lafayette, police told local media Monday.

Police have said a Fanny Street resident found Farabee trespassing in his backyard Friday morning without any clothes while carrying two guns. They say the two men exchanged shots, with the resident killing Farabee.

Farabee died at the scene, while the resident was not injured.

No arrests have been made, but police say they’re investigating.
