Battery

1500 block of Pebble Beach Drive: A woman reported at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday that another woman punched her in the head repeatedly. She was arrested.

Thefts

  • 1000 block of Wilson Way: A woman reported at 2:03 p.m. Wednesday that someone stole two license plates from her vehicle.
  • 1100 block of North Drive: A man reported at 7:59 p.m. Wednesday that two expired gas cards were stolen from his vehicle.
  • 1900 block of Churchill Road: A woman reported at 6:16 a.m. Thursday that a power inverter was stolen from her vehicle.

Property-damage accidents

  • 6:19 p.m. Wednesday — 2100 block of U.S. 31.
  • Noon Wednesday — 100 block of Commerce Drive.
  • 3:23 p.m. Tuesday — State Road 44 and Crowell Street.

Battery

600 block of Ponderosa Pine Drive: Police responded at 11:58 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a battery. A man was arrested.

Thefts

  • La Quinta Inn, 1281 S. Park Drive: Police responded at 7:12 a.m. Wednesday to a report of theft from a vehicle.
  • Goodwill, 997 E. County Line Road: A woman reported at 11:34 a.m. Wednesday that someone stole her purse while she was in the store.
  • Road Ranger, 1615 E. Main Street: Police responded at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday to a report of theft of a CB radio antenna.

Fraud

Sears, 1251 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday to a report of fraud.

Shoplifting

Von Maur, 1251 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 4:29 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a shoplifter. A woman was arrested.

Johnson County

Thefts

  • 5300 block of Innisbrooke Lane, Greenwood: A man reported at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday that someone stole a license plate from his vehicle.
  • CVS, 402 W. Market Place Drive, Greenwood: An employee reported at 12:07 p.m. Wednesday that two people had shoplifted from the store.
  • 3100 block of S. Morgantown Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 5:37 p.m. that a ring was missing from his home.
  • Solar Fields, 2451 S. State Road 135, Franklin: An employee reported at 7:05 a.m. Thursday that someone broke into a trailer and cut copper wire.  A section of a fence surrounding the property was cut and tools were missing.

Burglary

3600 block of E. Billingsly Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 7:59 a.m. Wednesday that someone entered a building on his property and moved tools around.
