Children of all ages are invited to enjoy a concert at the amphitheater at Craig Park in Greenwood this weekend to listen to classic and fun music.
Kids and adults are both ideal audiences for musical arrangements loved by kids and grownups alike. The show will be accompanied by games, prizes and the opportunity to play real musical instruments as well as refreshments and giveaways.
The show begins at 7 p.m. Sunday at Craig Park.
Before and after the concert, kids can enjoy the “musical instrument petting zoo,” where members of the Greater Greenwood Community Band put their old instruments on display to let kids try playing real band instruments.
Kids from previous years used this as an opportunity to choose their musical pathway through school and even started taking lessons early as a result, according to a statement from the band.
