Battery

700 block of S. Pleasant Street: A woman reported on Saturday that an acquaintance came into her home, put his hands around her throat and squeezed and pushed her. He also urinated on her floor and trashed her home. He was arrested.

Burglary

600 block of E. Monroe Street: A man reported at 2:15 p.m. Monday that someone broke into and damaged property at a shuttered fraternity house.

Thefts

1500 block of Younce Street: A woman reported at 2 p.m. Monday that prescription medication was missing from her home.

1100 block of Stellar Drive: A woman reported at 8:47 p.m. Monday that a license plate was missing from her vehicle.

Counterfeiting

Thornton Oil, 1600 U.S. 31 South: Police responded at 6:01 p.m. Monday to a report of counterfeiting.

Thefts

Kay Jewelers, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 1:39 p.m. Monday to a report of a pair of diamond earrings missing from the case.

Hubler Acura, 1265 U.S. 31: An employee reported at 5:37 p.m. Monday that a vehicle was missing from their inventory. Another employee gave the keys to a man claiming to be from a trucking company there to pick the vehicle up. The car never arrived at its destination.

1500 block of Canterbury Drive: Police responded at 7:02 a.m. Tuesday to a report of theft of prescription pills.

1700 block of Eastwood Street: Police responded at 7:51 a.m. Tuesday to a report of theft of a learner’s permit.

1500 block of Buckingham Court: A woman reported at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday that she saw the dome light on in her car and saw two people searching other cars on her street.

Theft

3900 block of Kristi Way, Greenwood: A woman reported at 6:56 a.m. Tuesday that someone stole wicker furniture from her porch.

7:53 a.m. Monday — County Road 500S, and County Road 800W, Trafalgar. Laiken E. Beard, 17, Morgantown and Anna Gunter, 65, Morgantown. Passenger Geaster Hall, 15, Morgantown reported neck pain. Passenger Amaryan Pfaehler, 4, Morgantown, reported neck pain.

6:35 p.m. Monday — County Road 1100N, and Latitudes Drive, Greenwood. Sarah E. Johnston, 23, Greenwood and Maud P. Ausseur, 31, Indianapolis. Johnston reported chest pain.
