PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney is set to address the United Nations in New York.

KYW-TV (http://cbsloc.al/2cHkhtG ) reports Kenney will speak about IMPACT 2030, a global sustainability project.

But Kenney says he’ll also talk about fighting poverty and his hope to establish universal pre-K schools in Philadelphia, which he hopes will catch on elsewhere.

Kenney says he’s honored to be standing at a podium where world leaders like various popes and Nelson Mandela have stood. He says he’s “not even worthy to stand on that platform.”
